glitter everywhere . . . located in the "top of the hill" gallery district in benzonia, michigan, mecca is an offbeat shop in a restored 1880's house. owner/artist marcy patterson-grudzien uses her experience as an interior designer and childhood explorer of all things sparkly to make her one-of-a-kind treasures. the fanciful cake topper/box evolved from marcy's membership in the altered book society, where an old book is transformed into something magical.

one-of-a-kind and quite sparkly!
using vintage flowers and felted sweater leaves, ribbon, and nostalgic found objects, each creation is a keepsake box that opens. the smaller ones can sit on top of a cake with a trinket inside . . . first cake, then doily, then a loop of masking tape, then topper. all are cleverly named and handsigned by me. they are shipped u.s. priority mail and are priced (w/out s & h) from $15.00 to $125.00. give me a few weeks to fill your order. custom toppers with family photos are also available - call me to help design one.
